After interviewing several members of the Utah REIA, it was discovered that most entered the real estate world with the ambition to quit their 9-5 job.  Many have unique reasons, but common goals include passive income and a flexible schedule.

During the June Main Monthly Meeting, we will be learning from a few Utah REIA Members who left their 9-5 jobs  (which they were at for YEARS!) and went full time real estate in less than a year.

These Utah REIA Members are:

Alan Walker, Origin Real Estate:  Alan Walker worked as a software developer for 15 years before moving into real estate.  He bought his first 2 properties in 2016 and now has 12 doors.  After buying his first rental properties, he became a full time realtor and flipper.  His most recent focus is coupling his real estate business with crypto as a vehicle for business reserves, great returns and borrowing for real estate projects.

Coco Zuniga, Zuniga Real Estate:  Coco is a realtor and investor in SLC, UT.  She is originally from Rexburg, ID.  She has been in real estate full time for 4 years.  In those 4 years, she has helped over 120 families buy, sell or invest and she has acquired 5 doors plus her personal residence.  She is a single mom to Baylee (14) and Brax (12).  She is passionate about teaching her kids about financial literacy, the importance of saving and about investing.  She has overcome many obstacles in her life, including 2 bankruptcies, 2 foreclosures, and divorce.  She has learned the importance of mindset and investing in herself.  Within these past 5 years, she has acquired over 2 million dollars in real estate.  She attributes that to hard work, education, and surrounding herself with like-minded individuals with similar goals.

We will also be learning from Coco's children, Baylee (14) and Brax (12) what they've been learning about the importance of saving and investing.


Baylee Zuniga:  
Baylee is the founder and owner of Baylee's Babysitting Business.  She babysits, pup sits and does dog walking.  She loves to read and is excited to be a freshman next year.  She already has a fund set up to save money for her first rental property, and is super stoked because her mom said she would double anything she adds to that fund.  


Brax Zuniga:  Brax is the founder and owner of Brax's Potty Party - He cleans toilets when you don't want to!  His slogan is "You do your duty and I'll do mine!"  He will be in 7th grade this year, is saving his money for a Nintendo Switch, and loves anything to do with pineapples.
