Diego Adrián Báez Jiménez (Utah REIA Latino Community Chair)
Diego Baez, a real estate investor with nearly two years of experience. Diego and his father, Norberto Baez, embarked on this remarkable journey when Diego was just 17 years old. In the span of 20 months, they successfully completed 18 real estate deals. The journey was far from easy, as Diego was still a high school student, actively participating in varsity soccer and swimming, with no prior knowledge of the real estate world.
Throughout their real estate journey, they engaged in various ventures, including fix & flips, money lending, general contracting, and wholesaling. They strongly believe in the value of building meaningful connections and emphasize the importance of helping others without expecting anything in return.
One phrase that resonates deeply with them, spoken by Diego's father in Spanish due to his limited English, is, 'Si no vives para servir, no sirves para vivir,' which translates to, 'If you don't live to serve, you don't serve to live.'
