We all want to protect our investments---but when it comes to real estate, how much protection is too much? Also--what can we do to avoid insurance claims (so our rates won't sky rocket?).
Rather than avoid the subject of insurance, join the Utah REIA for the April Networking Luncheon and learn from seasoned real estate investor (and agent for American Family Insurance), Lance Paulson, on How to Save $ and Avoid Insurance Claims as a Real Estate Investor.
During his presentation, Lance will cover;
- What can ruin me as a RE investor?
- It’s your policy and it’s assumed you KNOW the details, do you?
- The TOP 5 coverages every RE investor should be aware of?
- There is such thing as TOO much insurance!
- Strategies to reduce your insurance costs.
MORE ABOUT LANCE: After deciding he wanted a change from his career in the Wireless Phone Industry, in 2007, he explored opportunities of opening an insurance office. Lance met with 4 different companies, and after careful consideration, decided to open his insurance business partnering with American Family Insurance.
Lance started the practice on December 1st, 2007 in South Jordan, UT with a client base of 0. After almost a year in business, Lance relocated the office to Midvale and has been there ever since. Lance and his team of 4, soon to be 5, are now proud to serve over 2,000 households across the state of Utah and specialize in all types of Building insurance from a simple owner-occupied single-family residence to large Apartment complexes with over 200 units.
Another passion of Lance’s is real estate investing. He acquired his 1st rental property when he moved out of his condo, in SLC, and into his Draper home in 2004. Both he still holds as profitable rental properties today. Today he controls $3.7M in real estate and has invested over $500k in rehabbing properties.
Most importantly, Lance has been happily married to his lovely wife Trinity, for 8 years, and they have 2 beautiful daughters. They live in Sandy and have resided there for about 3 years. He enjoys spending quality time with his family, vacationing, health & fitness, and acquiring more real estate.
