Have you ever looked at a raw piece of land and thought about the possibilities - maybe a subdivision, office park, etc?

If so, did you know that just by preparing land for a builder - you can make some really good money?

If you are interested in learning more, join the Utah REIA for the October Networking Luncheon where Aaron Carter and Jason Herbert of Capital Relations will present, "How to Make Money in Land Acquisitions."

During their presentation, they will inform us:
1.  What they look for in a prospective land deal
2.  Structures on the land?  How they deal with those
3.  Entitlement - making sure everything is clean on paper
4.  Financing the deal
5.  Exit strategies (marketing, contracts, etc.)

A LITTLE ABOUT AARON:  Aaron is a self-starter and motivated entrepreneur with experience in real estate restoration with the increase of their resale value. He has exponentially increased the resale value of over 300 bank-owned real estate properties as a result of his improvements. In previous years as a Project Manager, Aaron has rejuvenated and beautified multiple outdated homes to the modern standards of today. Following this experience he worked with a real estate broker, which sparked his interest in dealing with transactions as an agent. Since 2015 he has been a residential real estate agent with Marshall Stearns producing multiple transactions a month. With his experience and skill set, Aaron is now raising capital for real estate opportunities and land developments for Ardero.

A LITTLE ABOUT JASON:  During Jason’s 20 plus years in commercial and residential construction management, real estate acquisition and development, and sourcing, securing, and turning large profit projects, Jason built relationships and a pool of individuals and resources. He quickly expanded his love of real estate development and found success in Utah, Nevada, Washington, and in Oregon where he built multiple real estate related ventures including a restoration company doing between 300-400 homes a year with over three million in revenue. Jason has been instrumental in facilitating, funding, and overseeing relationships to secure The Ascent Hotel and then managed those relationships to bring it to a reality. He has engaged himself in private equity and funded many multi-million dollar projects and has utilized his pool of relationships to bring all involved success.
