Contract for Deed and All Inclusive are two popular methods to take control of a property.

When weighing which one to use, there are pros and cons for each.

At the November Utah REIA Monthly Meeting, two favorite real estate attorneys, Jeff Breglio and Jax Pettey, will be joining us to provide their insight as when to use each one.

MORE ABOUT JEFF BREGLIO:
Jeffrey S. Breglio has been an attorney since 1995 and in private practice beginning in 2000. He graduated from Brigham Young University with a B.A. in Economics as well as his Juris Doctorate. Jeff began his professional adult life as an educator in secondary education and then higher education where he taught business law, economic and English courses.
He began investing in real estate in 2000 when he bought his first flip property. At about the same time he was asked to help negotiate an intellectual property dispute over some music for a film producer. Thus began his legal career. Soon Jeff was representing numerous film production companies, musicians and other artists, helping protect their creative artwork.
Because of his passion for and experience in real estate, Jeff began helping other investors protect their assets and facilitate their transactions. Currently he teaches, both locally and nationally, on numerous real estate investing topics such as asset protection, seller-financing and self-direction.
For four years, Jeff practiced in Washington DC, where he had grown up. He helped on large, government regulation and litigation cases on behalf of numerous Fortune 500 companies. This time broadened his experience in the law as well as his love for the eastern seaboard.
Because of this background, protecting families and business owners was a natural fit. He has tailored Breglio Law Office, as well as his own practice, to helping people protect what they’ve work hard for, be that their home or other real estate assets, their business, their intellectual properties or their own families.
Jeff is a former competitive marathoner and triathlete, even having competed in the St. George, UT Ironman. He still runs today. He’s also proud to say that he’s published three novels and is working on his fourth.
