Do you want to fix up houses, but feel you lack the expertise to fix them up?

Great news is that during the March Utah REIA Networking Luncheon we have Ben Wilson, General Contractor coming to educate us on how to best partner with a contractor when doing deals.

During his presentation, Ben will share with us:
  • Why partnering with a contractor can make your deal better.
  • Why bringing in a contractor early can make your deal actually work.
  • Ways to avoid partnering with the wrong contractor.
  • How to find contractors that will work with you.
  • Reasons why a contractor would partner with you.

ABOUT THE PRESENTER:  Born and raised in the Salt Lake area, with a dad as a GC and building specs there were many years when the homes that his dad built to sell got called home for brief stretches meaning lots of moving around during the elementary school years. Early on he got to experience the feast or famine lifestyle that can often be associated in the construction industry.
He was an all-state soccer player, served a service mission in California speaking Cambodian, and graduated from the University of Utah with a Business Administration degree. He enjoys mountain biking, riding both dirt and street motorcycles, restoring old cars and loves to be around lakes or oceans, traveling and adventures. He got into weight lifting and after years at the gym developing this passion competed and placed in several fitness competitions. He also taught nutrition and exercise for a year.
After a few breaks from construction during his professional career has been working as a construction manager for many local builders managing multifamily, single family production and customs, remodels and additions. He looks forward to using a blend of construction knowledge and experience to boost his investment career. He got married late in life to his wife Valerie after being single far too long and is looking forward to his life ahead.
