Nick Welland is obsessed with two things: Volleyball and doing deals! As Utah House Buyers longest tenured acquisition specialist, he has been wholesaling since mid-2018 after leaving his desk job at Fidelity Investments. A friend of his who helped build UHB showed Nick what can happen when you have effective conversations with people and find ways to serve them. Far from a natural – he had no sales experience at this point but his eyes were opened after his first couple ride alongs. He took his enthusiasm, his desire to learn, and his inner faith and managed to fight through the initial learning curve that does many new wholesalers in. Nick has spent close to three years now learning from two of the very best in the game, Clay Rockwood and Bryan Martineau. Today Nick comes to you excited to share the knowledge he has acquired from closing deals for one of the best wholesale operations in the west.
Nick’s personal life consists mostly of playing sand volleyball, skiing, being with friends, riding an unnecessarily loud motorcycle and trying to force his cat David Robinson to cuddle him. He was raised in the Midwest where he earned a degree in Industrial & Systems Engineering at THE Ohio State University that now is a pretty decoration on his shelf next to all the participation trophies he got from playing sports as a child in the 90’s! Nick loves helping people grow and is looking forward to guiding those in attendance to get better at negotiating real estate with integrity.
