According to a Pew Research Center survey conducted in fall 2016, 90% of U.S. Households contain at least one of the following devices: smartphone, desktop/laptop computer, tablet, or streaming media device, with the typical (median) American household containing five of them.

Considering that study was done almost two years ago, imagine what the statistics are now!

No doubt, technology has made the ability to communicate, build relationships, and perform transactions a lot easier.

However, there comes a price. Along with the development of technology comes the development of fraud.

At the April Monthly Meeting, Bob Goodson, Account Manager with First American Title and seasoned CE educator, will be be presenting, Cyber Fraud – Protecting Yourself as an Agent. During his presentation, Bob will address the following:
  • How to Protect Yourself
  • Latest scams, hacks, and phishing scams
  • Real Life Examples
  • What to do if you have been compromised
  • Best Practices to keep you and your clients safe

Attending this presentation will grant real estate agents one CE credit.
