You may have learned A LOT about Wholesaling, Fix and Flips, and Multifamily real estate.  However, have you ever had a chance to dive deep into the details of actual deals done by local real estate investors?  

For the Utah REIA Main Monthly Meeting in November, we have invited the following investors to come and share details of deals they have done:

Josh Smith - Wholesaling
Tyler Jensen - Fix and Flips
Dominick Delgado - Multifamily

For each of their deals, they will be diving into the following details:
1.  How they found the deal
2.  How they analyzed the deal
3.  How they knew it was a good deal
4.  How they bought the deal
5.  What the outcome was

In addition, they will be sharing their numbers and calculations - as well as how they got going in real estate investing.

ABOUT THE PRESENTERS:


Josh Smith--Josh Smith has a strong background in the financial services business.  He worked for many large companies as an investment banker for over 16 years.  He chose to make a career change and dove head first into the real estate world.  He has been working full time in his new career for almost 4 years, and has grown through many highs and lows.  He continues to learn every day while developing and expanding his business.  Josh has experience in multiple real estate transactions including:  land development, fix & flip remodels, wholesaling, hard money lending, buy/hold rentals, short-term AirBnb rentals, and traditional retail listings.

Josh has a degree from the University of Utah in Business Management/Finance.  He is originally from California but moved to Utah to be closer to family and to be where his beautiful wife Angela is from.  Josh and his wife love to ski/snowboard, hike, camp, and do anything outdoors.  


Tyler Jensen--Tyler Jensen started flipping houses in 2008 - when the market as at an all time low.  He started doing short sales and helping people out of foreclosure in flipping one-two homes a year throughout college.  After he graduated, he joined corporate america while still flipping a house or two a year.  However, working his guts out for someone else he knew that was never his true calling and he wasn't fulfilled.  Flipping houses was the answer to fill that void that corporate america could never fill.  He quit his job and is now a full time flipper.  He has a beautiful wife with three little boys and currently lives in Layton, UT.


Dominick Delgado--Dominick attended his first real estate training in July 2003 and 8 months later, using a lease option strategy, he purchased his first single-family residence with $10 down.  He later sold this same property using a lease option and over the last 14 years has continued to buy and sell over 100 properties with creative financing strategies.
  
He has performed short sales, subject-to, seller financing, hard money financing, and utilized a variety of other strategies in between.  His leadership, practical experience and hustle” mentality has given him a unique advantage to grow and adapt in different market cycles, and he is constantly learning in the evolving in the world of real estate. Dominick has worked with MJA Real Consulting since 2016 as a valued team member and acquisition consultant. 

Dominick volunteers as a board member of the Salt Lake Real Estate Investors Association (SLREIA) where he has found value in giving back to local investors who want to enhance their knowledge. In addition to loving real estate investing and the lifestyle it can provide, he is a happy husband and father of two children.
